My role in the project was to architect the flow of the platform, design interactions for responsive web, conduct design research, remote usability tests, provide recommendations and collaborate with product owners, visual designers and engineering teams.
What problem was solved?
The time-consuming task of gathering data prevents some managers from performing these feedback sessions with the quality and frequency necessary to establish a healthy coaching relationship. Also, associates are required to log into multiple different platforms to track their performance, engage in learning, receive and offer feedback, which is time consuming and even redundant effort at times.

Learnings:
1. I learnt that it was crucial to discuss how would success be measured early on in the process.
2. It is important to facilitate and educate product owners about the importance of defining the problems before designing solutions. Working backwards often results in wastage of resources and time.
3. It is imperative to work quickly to communicate high level ideas and keep the process iterative before hyper customizing and designing in detail.
After multiple brainstorming and white-boarding sessions with the stakeholders, I embarked on creating high level conceptual sketches before creating detailed interactive prototypes.

Contextual inquiries, observational studies and user interviews were conducted to gain empathy and a better understanding of users' pain points and challenges.

Interactive prototypes, user flows and wireframes were designed to guide the stakeholders through a detailed flow of the experience, enable visual designers to add a design layer and to help the engineering and front end development teams to complete their tasks.
